Day three of the road trip brought us to the Grand Canyon. The funniest thing I saw that day (other than my comical life flash before my eyes) was the fact that the Grand Canyon is not the largest nor deepest canyon in the world, but that the park rangers consistently refer to it as the grandest. Absolutely astounding to see how far down it goes!

Getting there was quite fun, as it was the first time we had driven around the wlid west in the daytime.
